Our office is conveniently located in the heart of Hampton Roads, off of 664, in the Western Branch Section of Chesapeake. We are fully equipped with state-of-the-art dental equipment ergonomically designed to deliver quality care with all the luxuries of a fine spa or salon; what we like to call 5-star service.
Our reception room is equipped with continuous-playing video demonstrating dozens of recent before and after cases created exclusively by Dr. Cranham, as well as educational DVDs that explain our services. Our walls are lined with photographs of patient cases, demonstrating the dramatic life-changing results we deliver each day.
When you first call our office, you will recognize that we are here to pamper you and offer the first-class service we are known for. We respect that your time is important and are committed to on-time appointments.
Upon entering our reception area, you will be greeted by name and offered fresh Starbucks coffee, tea, juice, or bottled water. You can freshen up in our tastefully appointed lavatory, or you may want to have a massage during your treatment in one of our treatment chairs, equipped with heated massage units.
You can even listen to music from our collection in one of our 4 iPods, watch cable TV, or even watch a DVD with Bose noise-limiting headphones. At the end of your treatment, expect a hot, moist towel and complimentary bottled water.
For our out of town patients, expect us to help you with travel and hotel arrangements, transfers, as well as great suggestions for local restaurants. Consider us your own personal concierge.
Your First Visit
When you arrive for your first visit, which we call your “records appointment," you will be greeted by a member of our highly experienced staff, who will guide you through your visit and introduce Dr. Cranham.
One of our most important responsibilities is to thoroughly examine each patient entering the practice. Enough time is set aside to listen to your concerns and comments and to completely evaluate your teeth, gum tissues, bite, temporomandibular joints, and your smile, if you would like to consider elective cosmetic dental procedures.
At your first visit, our goal is to isolate any factor that could lead to breakdown of your dentition or supporting structures and to completely understand what you would like to accomplish from dental treatment. Only after a complete examination can a proper treatment plan can be developed - a treatment plan that will fulfill your individual requirements and wishes.
During this visit you will experience technology that you have not seen before. From digital photographs and x-rays, to computerized TMJ analysis; we will come up with the best plan to fit your needs and desires.
After the initial visit, you will be set up with a separate consultation appointment in which we will present your customized plan and give you the time and opportunity to ask questions and discuss the plan.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.), or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).
